Looking Back (Author Commentary)
This was the first proper story I ever wrote. There's an abundance of novelist tendencies in the description, and overall this is far from a clean screenplay. That said, I can't help but smile at some of the absurd dialogue and situations. Some scenes teeter between the extremes of characters laughing and crying with just a few lines. This might just be one of my personal cases of "it's so bad, it's kind of good". I mean, I had no idea what genre the story was supposed to be when I was writing it. Whatever genre the writers landed themselves in with such legendary bangers as the 2014 Hercules (feat. the Rock) or 2006's The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, I guess.
